The Lammermuir Larder, is a volunteer led community food initiative that exists to help people in the Haddington and Lammermuir area who are experiencing difficulties feeding themselves and/or their families.
On the completion of a referral, (which can be made by a professional working with the family or by the person themselves) and a “larder list” a weeks shopping is delivered to the persons door, with meat vouchers for the local butchers and fresh fruit and vegetables.

Our Community Kitchen exists to address isolation and loneliness in the Haddington and Lammermuir area by welcoming people to Haddington Bowling Club on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for a 3-course home-cooked meal and allowing friendships to form naturally.

Widely recognised as the ‘friendly market’, Haddington Farmers’ Market is a monthly delight, a “gem” – with a wide range of local and seasonal food, drinks, gifts and crafts.
The market is situated in picturesque Court Street, in the county town of Haddington, East Lothian and is held on the last Saturday of every month (except the December market which is before Christmas) from 9am – 1pm
Haddington Rotary Club is an essential part of the fabric of Haddington, and in 2010 celebrated 50 years of service to our community. Members come from wide variety of backgrounds and support many local and international organisations and provide assistance to many deserving causes.
