Scottish Coastal Clean Up

Tuesday, May 31st, 2022

Communities, friends, individuals are all invited to take part in the 2022 Scottish Coastal Clean Up. Whether you’re near home or away for the Jubilee Weekend, please spare a few minutes from June 4 to June 8 to clean up some litter near you.

We love a beach clean, but if you’re not near a beach remember drains and waterways lead to the sea, so you’re still doing your Lil bit wherever you are! It could be while you’re walking the dog, going for a wild swim, SUP, enjoying the best of our beautiful outdoors.

Please show us where you’ll pick on the map (link below) so we get a great distribution around the coast, and let us know how many bags or kg’s you take home with you.

Lil is delighted to be coordinating the event in the Lothians, with thanks to Taylor Wimpey East Scotland for their support. Caledonian Horticulture taking on northern east coast.

Please clean near you, wherever that may be – and share the location with us on https://getethermap.org/m/scottishcoastalcleanup
