Across East Lothian and Midlothian approximately 100 archaeological investigations are undertaken each year. From Iron Age villages through to hidden corners of historic buildings the investigations uncover fascinating aspects of our shared past. The work of East Lothian Council Archaeology Service is to oversee the majority of these projects. Through this talk we will highlight some of the discoveries uncovered recently across the two counties.
