Come and join us for some FREE family fun!
Play the Medieval Way is a free family event, suitable for children and fun for all. We will have loose parts play, Viarama transporting folks in to medieval times through virtual reality, street games with a medieval theme with "History Matters” and more. Try out writing in script with medieval ink with Lady Dawn, or discover braiding with a trollen wheel. There is also an option to take part in creating a children’s mural and watch out for Robert the Bruce too.
The event will be celebrating Haddington 700, the Year of Young People 2018 and the work of the local Area Partnership. Sited from the east side of the council car park at John Muir House through to Lodge Street, from 10 am to 1 pm - in good time to be ready to find something tasty to eat at the Farmer’s Medieval Market or one of the lovely eating places in Haddington then join in the procession for The Big Medieval Day.
