Lamp House Music is a Music School and Rehearsal Studio, located in Haddington (just off Hospital Road). At Lamp House Music, children and adults of all ages and abilities are encouraged to enjoy and embrace music, whether that through be learning, rehearsing or having sheer fun with music.
‘The Lamp House’ is a gorgeous, quirky little building, once a part of the original Haddington Railway, now a clean and modern rehearsal and teaching space. Opened in 2012, they provide Music Lessons for children and adults, fully-equipped rehearsal rooms for amateur and professional bands, and masses of fun in the form of workshops, youth music projects and gigs.
The Lamp House Music ethos is that learning to play an instrument should be fun! Taught by enthusiastic and patient music tutors, music lessons take place in the warm, friendly environment of The Lamp House, where you will be able to relax and enjoy your learning experience. There’s an array of instruments and classes to choose from: group classes for Beginners in Ukulele (ages 5-7 / Adult) or Guitar (ages 8+), plus one-to-one lessons in piano, singing, drums, guitar, violin (for ages 8+ to adult).
We prefer to teach our music lessons in-person, in The Lamp House, but online lessons are also available should you prefer.
