The Lammermuir Larder, is a volunteer led community food initiative that exists to help people in the Haddington and Lammermuir area who are experiencing difficulties feeding themselves and/or their families. On the completion of a referral, (which can be made by a professional working with the family or by the person themselves) and a “larder list” a weeks shopping is delivered to the persons door, with meat vouchers for the local butchers and fresh fruit and vegetables. This is a confidential, non judgemental initiative whose aim is to make sure that no-one in this ward is ever without food.
